Fat teen seeking weight loss help!?

I’m female, 16 years old, 5″3, 135 pounds, and fat. I mainly want to lose weight in the thighs, and stomach but i don’t know what to do to lose it. I have done simple things just to start off like cutting down on sugar and fats but i want to lose more. I don’t and have any equipment, their is only 2 gyms in town and i’m embarrased to go to them, and it’s hard for me to find time for me to do just basic workouts. Can anyone give me any hints, tips, or advice on what i can do to reach my goal of 120 pounds?

    stop drinking caffeinated beverages
    walk/jog/run at least 2 miles a day, about 20-30 min
    don’t eat anything after 6 pm

    Your really young. Eventually, you will loose the weight, But i would suggest eating all your food groups. go by the pyrimid. run everyday exercise 20-30 minutes and work ur way up from there start small. hope it helps! j=dont give up!:)

    Walk, run, do squats, crunches, push-ups, ride your bike, dance… Be creative. You don’t need equipment or a gym to work out.

    Enter for something you know you don’t have a shot at (say a really hard course). Worry a lot.

    I was embarrassed to go to the gym also. I was even embarrassed to be seen outside walking. So, I walked after dark. I eventually bought a $100.00 bike from Toys-R-Us and started riding that. You can also buy an exercise DVD that targets certain areas of your body – they are less than $10.00. Good luck.

    Bricks, water bottles or heavy cans of food will work as hand weights if you can’t afford weights to lift.

    DON’T EAT ANYMORE AFTER YOU HAD DINNER,

    you stay away from the junk food and the fast food and NEVER drink coke at all……the coke gos to your thighs and thats what makes your thighs fat…..trust me i thought i was fat and i still think i do but im not but anyways just keep on doing situps and push ups and just keep on doing that……also eat low cal. fodd that can help you lots…..i went form a size 7 to an size 3/4 and 5 an si still think im fat …..lolz

    cardio and tone. dont lift heavy ur trying to loose weight not gain. Its all about diet and confidence, FORCE yourself to stick to a diet, eat healthy and dont stop.

    I DONT LIKE THE TITLE OF THIS BECUASE I DONT THINK YOU SHOULD CALL YOURSELF “FAT”. BUT GURL YOU DONT NEED TO EQUIPMENT TO EXERCISE… THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO EXCERCISE WITHOUT THE TREDMILL AND WEIGHTS AND ALL OF THOSE THINGS. GO BUY YOU A TI-BO VIDEO AND I BET YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT THEN. BUT 135 IS DEFINETLY NOT FAT, but im 5’6 and your 5’3 so i dont know, but ya gurl skinny is whack anyways. you wanna have SOME meat on yo body

    I recommend (Biggest Loser’s) Jillian Michaels 30-day shred. You can get it for about $10 at walmart or if you have comcast it is on demand. I did it for 2 week and saw a huge difference.

    Alright hun, I know you said you don’t like going to the gyms. Anything else you can do for excercise? Running early in the morning or any school activities you can do? Plus, cutting down on just fats and sugars isn’t enough. You have to maintain a healthy diet. Just the right portions and the right things to eat. I kinda have the same problem, I hate working out in public so normally I’ll go for a run and I run at night down some trails near my house. No one sees me and I’m okay with it. For breakfast in the mornings and snacks after school I go for Special K. My favorite anyway. Hope this helped some. Good luck!!!

    Go to GNC and get the acai berry capsules that have other berrys and green tea in them. You take two daily and it boosts your matabolism and you get a lot of other benefits from it. If you dont get excersize at all, put on an mp3 player and try wallking down the street everyday. You would be surpirsed what just making an effort to move will do. These have worked for me in the past.

    You do not need a gym to work out. And no one really has time to work out. If you want the results you find the time. That is why some people jog at 5 am. Try walking then work up to jogging. You see quick results along with a good diet.

    I am 20 5’3 and 140 pounds….trust me you are not fat :) i am not either. we could both stand to lose some, but it is not necessary for your happiness i promise. learn to love your body, work out (its not as bad as you think), riding a bike is a good way to lose weight and have fun.

    look at the nutrition facts on what you buy.
    run around you house/apartment/neighborhood a lot.
    eat less. and healthy

    But if you feel like you need to cut back on some stuff, than go ahead, so long as it’s what you want =)

    Avoid those “shooters” [Red bull, monster, those thins blah], cutback on the sweets but do NOT deny yourself as you’ll end up gorging later on, try try trrrrry to completely cut out soda’s [very bad for you but I still have at least 1 a week.] Don’t drink only water, too much water is actually bad for you [RE: the later that died from drinking gallons of water during the "hold your wee for a wii" contest]

    Walking is exercise.. go window shopping =)
    Make a mix CD and play it when you’re in your room or cleaning [I'm more likely to not think of my sore feet when i'm bouncing around the kitchen to some good tunes].

    Don’t take pills or Slimquick [you mix it with water.. apparently helps you slim down.. riiiiiiight] you’re young it’s not good for your system.
