I am a young adult who has a lot of both muscle and fat. How can I lose weight before school starts?

Hey. I’m 19 years of age and I need help with weight loss. The problem is that I played football in school. In short, I am very strong, but I have a large gut, love handles and a size 40 waist. My stats are 19y/o, 6’0″, 248 lbs. I wish to get down to a lean 205, but I need help. I kindly ask anyone here for advice, tips, and suggestions. I noticed that everyone here is helpful to each other, and I look forward to the advice. Thank you in advance for your help.

Just drink tons of water, and eat lots of fruit and veggies, NO sugar and fatty foods. If you are going to eat meat make it chicken, fish or lean cuts of beef. Youo are still young if you do this and get in some type of good exercise whenever you can the weight will just fall off of you. Good luck.
For love handles you’d have to do alot of oblique exercises, which are quite hard to get at on there own.
As silly as it sounds try doing a pilates, or yogalaties class a few times a week.

Other than that reduce your caloric intake … say to like 1500 – 1800 cals a day, and not eating after 5 helps, but for me it’s just too hard.
And I guess just lots of cardio.

My secret (and I tell everyone who asks this) is simply healthy eating. Take a look at your diet. Change anything that you don’t think helps! Get the food groups, eat fresh fruit, and talk to your doctor!
