I would like some help with weight loss ideas?

When I was 17-18 I used to weigh 150 and I thought I was SO fat. Well, now that Im 20 and weigh 175 I regret thinking 150 was fat. *sigh* I have become very health conscious and want to change my lifestyle while Im still young and start taking the steps towards a healty. . .well being healthy.

Anyway, I have been working out and lost about five pounds, gained it back and lost it again, but the real issue is meals and what I eat. I try so hard to watch what I eat, but my family just cooks the best food and I find it hard to say no. So I figured, Ill cook my own meals to help promote weight loss.

What meals have helped you lose weight? Anyone have tips for losing weight? What about good recipes (healthy recipes please)? Any workout tips or anything? Any menus you followed that helped you lose wight? Any work out that helped your more then the rest?

Anything helps really, although I do want a lot of healthy recipes more, cause I love to cook and EAT! I just want to get back down to 150. Hahaha. So, hope you guys could help me out some. Thanks so much!!!

Hey, I have finally found a way to lose weight after about 10 yrs on a diet!!! but i don’t really cook intricate dishes. I have found that the nicest meals are simple – chicken and rice (with an oxo cube mixed) believe me its really nice, spaghetti bolognese (no garlic bread or cheese) and jacket potatoes with tuna. for snacks i have crab sticks and oranges which i love. havent had crisps or chocolate in 1 month and have lost a stone. :D xx

One of the websites I frequent for healthy meal ideas is called WORLDS HEALTHIEST FOODS. It’s fantastic and has a ton of idea’s. The meals are fairly quick and easy as well.

Your other option is simply to eat what’s given to you but cut back on the portion sizes of the foods that are higher in calories and eat more of the vegetables that are served (which are full of fiber and will keep you feeling fuller for longer).
