Lossing weight and tips?

I’m not as fat to be called a fat ass. I’m 14 years old and go to the 8th grade. I just have some, not a lot though. In the summer I want to loss weight. I’m planning on eating not much, like salad and staying off the fat foods. Like just eat breakfast and dinner. No fat food. A lot of water and 30 minutes in the gym atleast (20 minutes to run/walk and 10 minutes in the elyptical. Give me tips and thank you very much. Wish me good luck :]

Yes avoid grains and sugars. (So no bread, pasta, corn etc…) and eat a lot of fruits and veggies, get some protein from meat, eggs, nuts and seeds, you can eat a bit of dairy, but not too much, and drink water and herbal tea’s if you need something with taste.
As for exercise, you can run for 20 min but doing intervals or sprinting, (is much better and more effective then just doing one speed for 20 min) and go for walks daily (30 min or more) and lift some weights to help build muscles quicker (and lose weight)
