questions about healthy living?

I am trying to lose wieght and know that crash dieting isn’t for me nor does it actually work. I am 160 and 5’5, female. My ideal wieght is 130. I have been watching my calorie intake and am slowly adding in an exercise regimine, but I want to know if there is anything else I can do? I keep reading all types of online weight loss tips and books, but they all seem to have conflicting suggestions. I am also taking Hoodia, which does help me not feel hungry all the time (and I am taking the minium dosage)

Can someone suggest to me certain exercises I can do at home or in the car( I do lot of driving)?
Is there foods, other than celery, that has no fat and very little calories that I can eat? ( I hate celery)
Should I detox? I have lowered my calorie intake to 1500 or less, but should I go lower?
I would really appreciate some guidance.

Eating healthy and playing sports, but no weight loss?

I’m 14 years old, I eat healthy, drink nothing but water, and play soccer and i’m not losing weight?
Why is that?
I’m not fat , but I want to lose a few pounds for summer.

Tips for healthy, quick weight loss?

I’ve just had my second subsequent pregnancy (have two babies under a year) and have a fair amount of ‘baby’ weight to loose, about 2 stone. I’m getting married in August and would like to get back down to 9 stone by then. I’m counting calories (about 1250 daily); I eat often as I don’t want my body to think it’s be starved, I’m eating low cal and fat breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacking on soup/salad/fruit in between. I’m exercising when babies are sleeping or on evening for 30-60 minutes daily (aerobics usually). I’ve lost 8lb since I started 3 weeks ago, but was wondering if there is anything else I could/should be doing or any healthy ideas for helping me shift weight a little quicker?

What are some healthy ways to lose body fat?

My long term goal is definitely to get healthier and lose body fat. According to the body mass index, I’m “Obese”. I’m about 60 lbs overweight. The things I want know are some more simple easy weight loss tips. Here is a list of things I already know: 1. Try to eat veggies with every meal. 2. Drink lots of water
3. Eat slowly ( it should take about 20-30 mins to eat). 3. Watch Portion size. 4. Weight lift. I heard that weight lifting with aerobic exercise can really help with boosting your metabolism. Any other things that could help with changing my lifestyle to lose weight and be more healthier in general. Thanks

I need a good exercise plan and diet tips for a healthy weight loss?

Ok i’m 15
and 5″4 and weight about 230 pounds
i think more since the last time i weighed myself
i really want to lose weight becuase i want to get heal;thy and lower my risk for heart attack and diabetes
but every weight loss website ive been to means i have to work out for 6 hours a day and count every tiny thing i eat
which is something i dont really have time for

I want to get into a god college so i spend alot of time studying and doing homework or at school doing some extra-curricular activity
I’m in ALL AP classes and alot of extra curricular
So my day is pretty much waking up at 6:00am going to school from 8:00am to 8:00pm getting home eating doing homework studying till about 12ish 1 ish and then repeating the day

I dont know where i can really get exercise into that whole mesh of things since i don’t take P.E at school anymore and theres no way i can get it in

And then i dont really have much exercise equipment
resistance band
jump rope
step machine (really hard for me to do)
and exercise ball 65cm

yeah i’m willing to put 30-mins to an hour to exercise
becuase that all the time i really have

So if you could make me a diet plan thats not too restrictive but mostly tips becuase i dont want to spend my whole day figuring out how many calories ive eaten how many calories i have left toeat how manyu minutes i need to workout to burn those calories and whats foods i should eat next
its just too much stress for me and the last thing i need is stress

cardio and strength and maybe some stretches too please
things that burn alot of fat

Healthy Teen Weight Loss?

Hi I’m 5″4 and around 140 pounds.
Around 6 months ago I weighed around 110-125 pounds (I would lose and gain weight a lot and then lose and then gain again.)
My name is Catherine and I live in San Diego, CA and I’m 14 years old.

Let me first tell you about my health conditions:
Last year in may i had umbellical hernia surgery repair and then I just got back my hernia again this month…
I’ve been sick with mono twice in the past year, tonsillitus, the flu, etc. I also have been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and when I was younger I was diagnosed with ADHD.
(I dont take pills for it tho)

I cant lift weights ever for the rest of my life because of my hernia, and I cant strain my newly formed hernia again so I cant do anything too crazy for a few months.

so tell me what should i do to loose weight???
