Hey thanks for everyone who is going to answer this question. I’m 12 and i weigh 132 and i’m 5’3, i wouldn’t call my self fat but i’m not ultra skinny. I want to lose weight anyway though, my goal weight is 115. So do any of you have any tips, like food diets *the only i meat i eat is chicken*, exercise, does yoga help with weight loss? so if you guys would help me it would be wonderful plus you get points for answers so thumbs up!

Contrary to what some folks will try to tell you or sell you, there is no “magical food” that will cause you to lose weight on that alone.
It all comes down to a simple equation: burn more calories than you take in. I lost over 70 pounds on this rule, and have maintained it within 3 pounds for the last 6 months.
I count my calories and eat no more than 1500 per day. I speed-walk for 60 minutes 4 times per week, and do high reps with hand weights for toning. I drink 64 plus ounces of water a day and I eat something every 3 to 4 hours (6 to 7 small meals per day. A snack means a 6 ounce container of fat free yogurt).
The important thing is to focus on being healthy; not anorexic thin. There is a difference…and muscle is healthy for you and helps keep you energetic. Being healthy means you have that shine in your hair, that spring in your step, and the gleam in your eye.
You are only 12, so your metabolism is going to go through the typical puberty-era changes.
