Weight loss question! Please answer!!?

Well I would like to get a bit more fit and toned. Also, I would like to loose about 10-20 pounds (or more if possible, before June 16th or a few weeks after that,as it will be my summer vacation) I do gym everyday which is about 50 mins or so long, and we have to actually get “involved” in the games because we have pedometers and get a grade. Today we had to get 1500 steps or more, but today was our first day, and the numbers will get higher. Also, everyday (or almost everyday) I walk home or to my friends houses after school. So my questions is what can I do to loose weight? What foods should I buy that burn fat and are very helpful to weight loss? And also, about how many steps should I strive for in gym class everyday, that is a really good number? So I’d like a list of foods, a list of weight loss tips/techniques, and how many steps in gym class I should try to get that will help me! Thanks!! Oh and I cant go to real gyms and work out. Also, I don’t have equipment. Thanks again!

Depending upon the pedometer you are using, will show you how many steps you’ve taken, distance traveled, heart rate, speedometer, calories burned, etc. The first main step to losing weight is diet. You should be counting calories by using a Cal Pal or other calorie counter (you can use a pen and paper too). Depending upon your height, weight and physical stature will determine your weight loss goal. I would suggest a diet high in fiber and protein which include foods such as fish, egg whites, cereal, fruits, grains, nuts and chicken. Stay away from sugar at all costs. Sugars speed the metabolism up then slow it right down. All the unused sugar in your system will be stored and eventually turned into fat if not used. Stay away from soft drinks, desserts, pre-sweetened cereal, candy, fast food (greasy foods), pizza, deep fried food and chips. After the diet has been established, try to increase your workout everyday if it is only using a pedometer. If you can afford a good pedometer, buy it and track your progress everyday. An Actitrainer is pedometer that can measure calories burned, distances traveled, steps taken (aerobic, moderate, etc.), calories burned and consumed, nutritional goals and quality of sleep (another healthy factor in losing weight). The Actitrainer is plugged into your PC and can provide a statistical analysis of your weight loss program. I’ve said all I can, good luck!
To lose weight, you need to get your body to use up these stores of fat. The most effective way to do this is to:
1:) reduce the amount of calories you eat. 2:) increase your levels of activity. 3:) jog in the morning BEFORE breakfast, since you would have been starving for a long time, the body will use fat supplies as energy!
Below are ways to reduce calorie intake without having to alter your diet significantly.
Replace fizzy drinks and fruit cordials with water.
Swap whole milk for semi-skimmed, or semi-skimmed for skimmed.
Eat less lunch than usual. For example, make your own sandwich and limit the use of margarine or butter and full-fat mayonnaise (store-bought sandwiches often contain both).
Stop taking sugar in tea and coffee.
Have smaller portions of the food you enjoy and avoid having a second helping at dinner.
Cut out unhealthy treats – such as confectionary, sugary biscuits and crisps between meals.
Cut down on alcohole intake.
Don’t be tempted to skip breakfast. While skipping a meal will reduce your calorie intake for that hour, it will leave you much hungrier later on.
Drinking fresh water also helps in removing waste and redundant calories which is great for losing weight and detoxifying the body. Drinking water frequently is a very important to maintaining a healthy diet and losing weight naturally.
Hoodia Gordonii Plus is a good appetite suppressant, it fools the brain by making you think you’re full, even if you’ve eaten just a morsel. I haven’t had any side effect’s from its use over the past 3 months.. you must try it you will thank me, for sure;)
